A clutch kit normally contains the friction disc, the pressure plate or cover assembly and the release bearing. Heavy trucks use a large-diameter clutch, and many have an air-assisted clutch servo, which is a separate part from the kit.
Symptoms that usually point to it on a vehicle like the FAW Jiefang JH6:
Give the disc diameter, spline count and profile, the gearbox model, whether the clutch is push or pull type, and the engine model. Variants fitted with an automated manual gearbox do not take a conventional clutch kit.
Fitment is confirmed from the VIN and from the number on the part being replaced, not from the model name alone: engine variant, trim, market specification and mid-life revisions all change part numbers within the same model year. Send the VIN, the model year, the transmission type, whether the vehicle is left- or right-hand drive, and a photograph of the old part showing any number printed on it.
