Diesel engines use a low-pressure feed (lift) pump to supply the injection system and, on common-rail systems, a separate high-pressure pump driven from the engine. They are different parts and are not interchangeable.
Symptoms that usually point to it on a vehicle like the JAC X-Series:
State whether you need the low-pressure feed pump or the high-pressure pump. Give the engine model, the injection system type, and the number on the pump being replaced.
Fitment is confirmed from the VIN and from the number on the part being replaced, not from the model name alone: engine variant, trim, market specification and mid-life revisions all change part numbers within the same model year. Send the VIN, the model year, the transmission type, whether the vehicle is left- or right-hand drive, and a photograph of the old part showing any number printed on it.
