The brake disc is the iron surface the pads clamp. On pickups and light trucks the front axle usually has vented discs that shed heat through an internal vane structure.
Symptoms that usually point to it on a vehicle like the JAC T8:
Give the outer diameter, thickness when new, the number of bolt holes and the pitch-circle diameter, the centre bore, and whether the disc is vented or solid. Front and rear discs are rarely the same part.
Fitment is confirmed from the VIN and from the number on the part being replaced, not from the model name alone: engine variant, trim, market specification and mid-life revisions all change part numbers within the same model year. Send the VIN, the model year, the transmission type, whether the vehicle is left- or right-hand drive, and a photograph of the old part showing any number printed on it.
