Dongfeng Rich 6 Side Mirror
About this part: Side Mirror
A door mirror assembly can be anything from a manually adjusted housing and glass to a unit containing electric adjustment motors, a heating element, an indicator repeater, power folding, a puddle lamp, a blind-spot radar or camera, and a memory position sender.
Symptoms that usually point to it on a vehicle like the Dongfeng Rich 6:
- The mirror will not hold position, or moves in one axis only — an adjuster motor.
- A grinding noise when the power fold operates, or a mirror that no longer folds flush.
- The heated element demisting only part of the glass.
Ordering this part
Specify the side, whether the vehicle is left- or right-hand drive, and the connector pin count — pin count is the most reliable single indicator of feature content, because each added function (heating, folding, indicator, blind spot, memory) adds pins. Also state whether you need the complete assembly, the housing cap only, or the glass only, and whether the cap is painted or primed.
Fitment is confirmed from the VIN and from the number on the part being replaced, not from the model name alone: engine variant, trim, market specification and mid-life revisions all change part numbers within the same model year. Send the VIN, the model year, the transmission type, whether the vehicle is left- or right-hand drive, and a photograph of the old part showing any number printed on it.
